We so often think that if we can just get away from our current life and location, we’ll find true happiness. Well, guess what? Happiness and change comes from within and when we get to our new destination, and open our suitcase, we find that we brought Me, Myself, and I along!

Do you have a promise box? The first one was made in the early 1900's in the form of tiny scrolls rolled into a box called "The Golden Grain". It came complete with a pair of tiny tweezers to extract your promise from the bible for the day. My mother still has the promise box shaped like a loaf of bread, with my fingerprints all over it.

"He brought me up also out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings". Psalms 40:2. I may not have seen the fullfillment of that promise he gave me in this episode, but the Lord did exactly that as the years unfolded!

In school, I stood strong in my purpose to tell my peers about what God could do in their lives. My guard was up against any trap the devil could set for me, but at Bibleway I was safe......so I thought! A big obstacle to my walk with my God was sitting next to me at church!

The diary of a young girl, who on her 14th birthday, started a diary as an outlet for all the emotional ups and downs navigating through life as a fervent Christian. Now a woman in her 60’s, she shares weekly episodes, taking the listener on her journey through lonliness, boy crushes, rejection, burdens and laughter. All expressed through the passionate love and dedication she has for her God.
